re-awakened to build upon a legacy of good deeds. That re-awakened and invigorated force is none other the Morehead State University Student Chapter for Habitat for Humanity. In the past the club has contributed many volunteer hours in the construction of Habitat homes, as well as in fund-raising projects. Such as by building a utility shed on campus and raffling it off—all proceeds went towards building habitat homes. Campus Habitat Chapters do not only benefit the mission of Habitat for Humanity of course, students gain skills and knowledge useful for a lifetime and more importantly an appreciation for the value of service and volunteerism and the very real effect that kindness and compassion has upon a community. This lesson does not come easily and can only come through experience, an experience which will guide future decisions for a lifetime. Morehead Habitat applauds the rebirth of the MSU Club and looks forward to working with them for years to come.
